These butterflies live in or visit my garden in west Raleigh North Carolina. I’ve grouped them by genus or family where possible. More kinds of butterflies come to the garden every years as the diversity of native plants here increases. They add a mesmerizing layer of color and movement to the garden. All photographs are by me, Linda Watson. Click on them to see a larger image.
