The sun came out after a pop-up rain shower today and so did this bull frog! At first, I noticed the water-lily flower moving. You can see that the frog pulled off a petal and is holding it between her front feet. I didn’t see her actually eat it, but she was opening and closing her mouth, as if the hot weather was making her sleepy.
She stayed under the flower until it closed for the afternoon, at least thirty minutes. What a fairy-tale moment!
