A brief but intense rain washed through while I was cooking dinner today. After we ate, I went outside to admire the raindrops on leaves and the garden’s lush steaminess. Then I found a surprise!
Downy Woodmint holding a Pentagram?
I really don’t understand this. Doesn’t it look like the Downy Woodmint (Blephilia ciliata) is holding an orange pentagram in its outstretched tentacles? As usual, click on any photo for a larger image.
